San Francisco to Half Moon Bay

It has been a very busy day and a half. Yesterday started with the alarm ringing at 3 a.m. departure from home before 4 and flight at 5:40 in the morning. All the travels went well for both Julie and I and Rob and Beth.

We pick up our rental van and headed into our hotel in San Francisco.  On the Streets of San Francisco, we found a campervan which is not quite as nice as the one we rented.

We had a wonderful time walking around the town having Seafood for lunch and pizza for dinner, both San Francisco specialties.

This morning was another early start. We left the hotel at 7 and caught the 7:45 ferry to Sausalito. After a wonderful breakfast, we all cycle across the Golden Gate Bridge. At that point Rob and I reluctantly parted with Julie and Beth who cycled to the hotel. Rob and I headed down the coast to our first destination, Half Moon Bay.

Our ride was short today, climbing a little and navigating our way out of the city. After 10 miles, we found our self cruising down the Pacific coast with the ocean waves crashing to our right
