Three Days on the Big Sur Coast
Friday - Monterrey to Big Sur
Saturday - Big Sur to Cambria
Sunday - Cambria to Pismo Beach
It has been a busy 3 days on the Big Sur Coast. Unfortunately, cell phone coverage has not been robust and blogging has been impossible. Now that we are back more populated area the California coast that shouldn't be a problem for the rest of the trip. Of course, that means leaving the beauty of the coastline of Big Sur.

The last 3 days have been 150 miles of riding and 10000 feet of climbing some of the most beautiful area I ever cycled. At every turn you have the beauty of the California seashore. The scenery is so beautiful that you don't seem to mind the the thousand foot climbs.
Julie and Beth have stayed busy cycling, hiking and providing support for Rob and me. Near San Simeon they saw a colony of elephant seals and a wonderful time learning from the docents.
The weather has been your perfect, 70 degree days head 50-degree nights. As soon as the morning fog burns off by 10 or 11 a.m. we're treated with glorious sunshine all day long.
